Welcome to Stapenhill Medical Centre

Our Opening Times are:

Mon - Fri 8:00am - 6:00pm

As you will be aware there is a current crisis with the coronavirus pandemic. The local medical committee and NHS England have been constantly changing advice as this virus has spread. As of 16th of March 2020, there will be no face to face appointments with any clinicians that will be bookable either online or by phoning reception. All issues will be triaged by phone by clinicians and then they will decide if you need to be seen in person in the surgery. There will be a strict policy of restricting the entry of patients in and out of the building. This is going to be the case till further notice.

Unfortunately there will be no drop in clinic until further notice.

This is with the aim of reducing and slowing the spread, and you will find that local surgeries are following a similar protocol.

Where possible we will send your prescription electronically to a chemist, so please inform us of your choice of chemist. We can take prescription requests by email. Our email address is:

This is likely to affect hospital appointments, with routine appointments being postponed as this develops. Please be aware of this, that we are unlikely to be able to ask to expedite appointments unless they are of an urgent nature.

Finally, if you think you have the coronavirus, please go to the NHS 111 website for the latest guidance.

Please click the COVID-19 Links tab on the left hand menu for helpful links
