Please give 2 working days notice for your prescription requests. We need to know the name, strength, dose and quantity of the drugs you require. If you are on regular medication you will have a computer printed slip provided, by using this slip it will help speed up your request.
When you are unable to get to the surgery then you can post us the printed slip with a stamped addressed envelope and we will return it to you. We do not accept requests over the telephone, this prevents error, confusion and potentially dangerous mismatches
If you require medication that is not on repeat or you do not have a printed computer slip, you will need to make an appointment to discuss it with your doctor.
Please note if you are posting us your request it will take at least a week for you to receive your prescription back.
When you are on repeat medication we need to review it regularly. When this review is due, it will tell you on the bottom of your printed repeat slip. Please book a routine appointment with either the doctor or nurse, as appropriate, before your medication runs out.
NOTE: We do not accept telephone or faxed requests for prescriptions
