We are only able to accept patients who live within our practice area i.e. Stapenhill addresses & the Manor Road Area of Stanton. We still have many patients living in surrounding areas but due to the rapid expansion of the population of Stapenhill we can usually no longer accept new patients living in or moving to these areas. To try and make the system as fair and clear as is possible, we operate a 'Green, Amber, Red System' - see below. The areas listed are only an approximate guide - a detailed map is used – see overleaf

Green Area

(Stapenhill)

Patients living in the green Stapenhill area & the Manor Road area of Stanton are able register with us

Amber Area

(Winshill, Drakelow, Some areas of Burton Town – see map for details)

We cannot accept new patients who live in the amber area except:

• Members of the same household as our existing patients
• Existing patients who move into the amber area are able to remain registered with us

Red Area

(All other areas)

We cannot accept new patients who live in the red area except:

• The registration of the new babies of our existing patients

Existing patients who move into the red area will be required to re-register with a more local general practitioner
