Due to the ongoing situation with Coronavirus, we are taking measures in line with guidance shared by NHS England and Public Health authorities to minimise risks associated with the virus.
In order to protect our patients and staff and we are asking our patients support with this.
Due to a recent clinical system migration, we regret that previous users of the Waiting Room will be required to re-register for online services. If you were a previously registered user, please email the surgery with your previous user details, and current contact details on firstname.lastname@example.org and we will endeavour to get you re-registered as a matter of urgency. Please bear with us at this time.
Once you have been registered and advised of your details, please use the link below to access our online services.
We would like to reduce paper requests for repeat prescriptions as much as possible, again to avoid the spread of the virus. We will electronically send the prescription, wherever possible to your nominated pharmacy.
Due to demand, prescriptions are taking slightly longer to process. We ask that you allow 72 hours for the surgery to process your request, and seek guidance from your nominated pharmacy for any further delays.
PLEASE DO NOT TELEPHONE FOR A REPEAT PRESCRIPTION.
To order your repeat medication please click on the link below. Please email your request to us. Please ensure you provide us with your name, address, D.O.B and the names of the medication you require and email to the address below:
Please do NOT book GP telephone appointments for requesting repeat prescriptions.
Please allow 48 hours, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays, for your request to be processed. Any problems please telephone the surgery.
Please note: This system requires a unique email account for each patient. This is because when you order your medication, you will find that all of the items will be there ready for you to tick, just as you would a normal repeat slip. This system creates your account from the email address that you have supplied which is why they must be unique.
NOTE: From July 2018 the Doctor’s will no longer accept phone calls to issue medication. This must be ordered using one of the ways mentioned above.
The NHS App team at NHS Digital have been working on this development for some time, but its release has been prioritised to help patients and primary care teams better cope with ordering and obtaining prescriptions during the pandemic.
Instructions of how to download and use the App can be found at: https://www.nhs.uk/using-the-nhs/nhs-services/the-nhs-app/ and https://www.nhs.uk/using-the-nhs/nhs-services/the-nhs-app/help/
You will be able to order your repeat prescriptions and also nominate a local pharmacy for Electronic Prescription Services.
