Repeat Prescriptions

All requests for medication need to be in writing.

You can order in the following ways –

Paper prescription – simply tick which items are required from your repeat prescription and post through the prescription box in the foyer.

Email request – you can email the surgery on stapenhill.medical@nhs.net with your request. You MUST include your full name, address and date of birth, along with the names of medication required.

Online services – you can register for online services which will allow you to send a request for repeat medication directly to us. To register, you will need to fill out an online services request form and bring it to reception along with two forms of identification.

You will then be able to log in by following this link – SystmOnline Login (tpp-uk.com)

WE DO NOT ACCEPT TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR MEDICATION.

Please do NOT book GP telephone appointments for requesting repeat prescriptions.

Once your medication request has been processed by ourselves, a prescription will then be sent directly to your nominated pharmacy for collection.

NHS App – now with EPS nomination functionality

The NHS App team at NHS Digital have been working on this development for some time, but its release has been prioritised to help patients and primary care teams better cope with ordering and obtaining prescriptions during the pandemic.

Instructions of how to download and use the App can be found at: https://www.nhs.uk/using-the-nhs/nhs-services/the-nhs-app/ and https://www.nhs.uk/using-the-nhs/nhs-services/the-nhs-app/help/

You will be able to order your repeat prescriptions and also nominate a local pharmacy for Electronic Prescription Services.

The terms of use section https://www.nhs.uk/using-the-nhs/nhs-services/the-nhs-app/terms/ may provide further information.
